High Gas Prices Getting the Better of You?
It's time for Americans to stand up, speak and boycott high oil prices!
We have spent not thousands, not millions, but BILLIONS of dollars protecting foreign soils for so called stabilization of the World markets
only to be repaid with ridicule and ridiculously high gas prices. Wouldn't that money be better spent on research, development and exploitation
of our own resources in order for us to be less dependent on foreign oil? Or, Heaven forbid, give the money back to our hard working American
taxpayers to help offset the over-inflated gas prices.
The average American finds gasoline prices altering their lifestyle. They can not continue to pay the artificially high pump prices without
serious detriment to their personal budgets. Some Americans must already choose between gas to go to work or food or medicine for their families.
How STUPID! Every excuse in the book has been used to try to explain away the high gas prices except the truth. Oil companies are lining their
pockets with profits and the executives are taking exorbitant salaries while creating production shortages in order to over-inflate the oil prices even higher.
Something MUST be done immediately. Our own Congress and President are reluctant to do anything to resolve the spiraling gas prices.
Congress and the President need to meet until this is resolved. We don't need any more studies, promises or false hopes. We need action and right now!!
We are calling for a one hour BOYCOTT of the use of any petroleum based products on September 1, 2005 between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 1:00 PM EST.
This means Americans will not use their automobile, lawnmower or ride a plane, bus or train during this time. Americans will not do anything that would
cause the use of petroleum products. By doing this we will get the attention of Congress, the President and oil companies and let them know we will no
longer stand for these over-inflated oil prices.
Join with us in this boycott! Pass this along to your friends, neighbors and business associates who also demand action to stop high oil prices.
Have your voice heard. We can make a difference. Demand action from Congress and the President!
